Evelyn G Wright (Grubbs), 80, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday 3/27/2019. She was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis. She was the daughter of Cecil Grubbs and Wilma Grubbs (Radcliff). She is survived by her only child, Rhonda Imran, sisters; Gloria Wright, Mary Willbanks and brother Cecil Grubbs Jr. Preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Linda K Grubbs and Patricia Luna. She has two grandchildren, Kristin Ellis (husband Russell Ellis) and Alyssa Imran, and three great grandchildren who affectionately called her “Mimi”. Friend, Steffani Brooks.
She adored the music of Elvis Presley and Kenny Rogers. She was employed by Herff Jones. She embraced the time she spent with family and friends, and we will miss her warm smile and loving heart!
A memorial service “Celebration of Life” will be held on Saturday April 6th @ 1:00pm, with visitation from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Indiana Funeral Care, 2433 E Main St., Greenwood, IN 46143.
